NNA Studio built Prank Sounds: Air Horn & Fart as a free, ad-supported application. This page explains what the app does and does not do with information on your device. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

Short version: there is no account and no sign-in, and we never ask for your name, email, contacts, location, photos or microphone. The app does show advertising supplied by Google AdMob and reports crashes through Firebase Crashlytics, and those Google services do collect device and advertising identifiers. Your sounds, favourites and settings stay on your device.

Information we collect ourselves

None. NNA Studio operates no server for this app. The app does not ask for, gather or upload your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, microphone input or any other personal information, and there is no registration or user profile. If you email us feedback, we receive only what you choose to write to us.

Third-party services in the app

The app includes the following Google services, which may collect information about your device:

Google AdMob — serves the banner, interstitial, native and app-open adverts you see in the app. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and interaction data in order to select and measure adverts. Firebase Crashlytics — if the app crashes, it sends a diagnostic report (device model, Android version, app version, stack trace, and a randomly generated installation identifier). It contains no content you created. See the Firebase privacy information.
Firebase Remote Config — used only to adjust how often adverts are shown. It fetches a small configuration file; it does not profile you.
Google Play services — required by the services above.

All of these are covered by the Google Privacy Policy. The app contains no other analytics, attribution or tracking SDK, and no advertising network other than AdMob.

Advertising and your choices

Adverts may be personalised (based on an advertising profile Google holds for your device) or non-personalised, depending on your choices and on where you live.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: the first time you open the app, Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your consent for personalised advertising and related data use. You may refuse, in which case you will still see adverts, but non-personalised ones.
Everywhere: you can opt out of personalised advertising for all apps on your device at any time in Settings → Google → Ads, where you can also delete or reset your advertising ID.
United States: we do not sell or share personal information for money. If you wish your personal information not to be shared for cross-context behavioural advertising, opt out of personalised ads as described above, or write to us at the address below.

Data stored on your device

The app saves a small amount of data locally so it can work. This data never leaves your device:

The sound files bundled with the app, unpacked into the app's own private storage on first launch.
The sounds you mark as favourite, kept in a local database.
Your display language choice, and the advert configuration and consent choice described above.

Uninstalling the app deletes all of this data. You can also clear it at any time from your device's app settings.

Permissions

Internet and network state — to load adverts, send crash reports, and fetch the advert configuration.
Vibrate — to vibrate while certain sounds play.
Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID, added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK) — so adverts can be selected and measured, as described above.

The app reads the device's motion sensor in order to play a sound when you shake the phone; this requires no permission and the readings are used only in that moment and never stored or transmitted. The app requests no other permissions, and in particular no microphone, camera, location, contacts or storage permission.

Children's privacy

This app is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app shows advertising, we ask parents and guardians to supervise its use by younger users. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at the address below and we will take the necessary action.

Security and retention

Since NNA Studio collects and stores no personal data of yours, there is no personal data of yours on our side to lose. Data created by the app is protected by Android's standard per-app sandbox on your device. Data held by the Google services listed above is retained according to Google's own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information. As we hold none, these requests are generally satisfied by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it, and by using the advertising controls above. You may also write to us and we will help as far as we are able.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and will be included in a subsequent version of the app.
